The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) aims to develop internationally-minded students who demonstrate the attributes of the IB Learner Profile by ensuring that learning is engaging, relevant, challenging and significant. An essential part of our student learning is the action cycle, which encourages students to take action to make a positive difference in the world around them at school, at home, in the community and beyond. Resnik CLC students and staff are encouraged to incorporate and develop ten attributes specific to IB known as the Learner Profile.
We are: Caring, Principled, Open-minded, Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced and Reflective.

The six transdisciplinary themes within the Program of Inquiry are selected for their relevance to the real world.
They are called transdisciplinary units because they focus on issues that go across subject areas.
